Concrete Scanning In Pewaukee, Wisconsin

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems (GPRS) was called on by an electrical contractor in Pewaukee, Wisconsin to do some concrete scanning. This electrical contractor has roughly 200 square feet of concrete to cut at the Waukesha County Technical College. They needed GPRS to scan the area before cutting to make sure they were not cutting into any live conduits or other types of utilities that are running through the concrete slab. By using GPR and a radiofrequency detection unit we were able to locate all conduits and other piping that were in the concrete. GPRS technicians were able to give immediate results to what was found in the slab.

By having this kind of work done before cutting the concrete they are able to avoid any disruptions to the surrounding classrooms. By this I mean not losing power or communications to those classrooms.
