Utility Locating at Power Plant in Wisconsin

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Wisconsin, was contacted by a local power plant to locate known and unknown utilities in order to update their as built utility drawings. The customer recently encountered an unknown utility during an emergency fire main repair. The customer had concerns that there could be many undocumented utilities and reached out to GPRS, to conduct a thorough investigation of the site. GPRS arrived on site without delay using our SIM utility locating process as well as utilizing Ground Penetrating Radar technology for a more thorough sweep of the entire site, limiting any surprises of costly repairs and/or safety concerns. Upon completion of the investigation we were able to provide the client with a CAD deliverable of our findings.
