Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. – GPRS – of Wisconsin was contacted by a major general contractor to scan a post tension slab of a parking garage at a large casino in Milwaukee, WI. The general contractor needed to put anchor bolts in twelve locations for fence posts on the top floor of the parking structure of the casino.

Using our 1600 MHz antenna we were able to see well into the slab and were able to identify the post tension and rebar running through the locations. Ground penetrating radar is a great tool to scan areas of post tension cables, rebar, and conduits, including PVC pipes and can also be used to locate underground utilities prior to digging or excavating.
